Medbio’s commitment to our customers during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis

Dear valued customers,

As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be an extremely dynamic event, Medbio and its affiliates are actively monitoring the situation to minimize the impact on our employees, clients, and local communities. To-date, we’ve not experienced significant disruptions of essential business operations.

Medbio’s Crisis Management Team has put a Crisis Management Plan in place to provide guidance to all the Medbio companies and operations, with policies and protocols to respond to COVID-19. Medbio is working to ensure a safe work environment for our employees, and is taking appropriate steps to ensure resources are in place to support our critical business processes. The team is constantly monitoring the CDC and the World Health Organization, and making adjustments to the plan as needed.

These steps include:

  • As of Friday, March 13th, we began monitoring employees entering the building, and sending people home if their temperature is 100°F or above. We’re following the CDC recommendations for screening, and are asking employees to stay home if they are not feeling well.
  • We increased the frequency of disinfecting surfaces, to protect all employees from the potential spread of the virus. We have implemented the ‘social-distancing’ recommendations in the breakrooms and throughout the office areas, and have asked employees who can work from home to do so.
  • We stopped all travel for Medbio employees, and have restricted visitors to our facilities. Only essential visitors will be allowed into the facility, provided their temperature is below 100°F, and they are free of symptoms. We are ensuring our employees are available and can be reached by our clients via email, phone, or text if needed.
  • Medbio has been monitoring our supply chain, and at this point we do not see any interruption in raw materials or purchased components. We have concerns that we will see a temporary fallout in the work force, but are working on a contingency plan to support production.

Medbio manufactures products used diagnostic test kits, and those products will take priority in production. We will do our best to meet all requested delivery dates, but lead-times maybe extended due to circumstances beyond our control.

Thank you all for your continued business; we hope everyone stays safe and healthy. If you have any questions, please reach out any of your contacts at Medbio, AIM Plastics, or our affiliates.

Sincerely,

The Medbio Team
