History

Medbio has a history of building partnerships and we constantly challenge ourselves to go beyond our customers’ expectations.

2004
Founded in 2004 on the southwest side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Medbio quickly developed a reputation for high quality products with superior customer service. During the start-up years our growth was driven by the dedication and industry experience of Sean Callaghan, Mark Longcore, and Joe Szyperski. They continue to be an integral part of Medbio’s success.

2006-2009
Ron and Chris Williams became part of the company in October 2006, further bolstering the depth and breadth of Medbio’s experience. Having previously developed and owned a very successful medical device company, the Williams provided the momentum needed to grow and expand Medbio, even through the downturn in 2009.

In September 2011, Medbio moved into a new facility on the southeast side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, which was later expanded to 65,000 sq ft in 2014.
